Abu Dhabi’s achievement of being crowned the Middle East and North Africa’s most liveable city hinges on a visionary infrastructure strategy that goes far beyond physical development. It is about creating a city where quality of life, community, and economic prosperity converge — where every investment in roads, housing, transport, and public space contributes to a healthier, more inclusive and connected society, and a vibrant economic ecosystem offering investors long-term prosperity.

With over AED 200 billion committed to infrastructure projects, Abu Dhabi is reimagining what it means to build a city: one that enhances well-being, attracts global talent and investors, supports thriving businesses, and nurtures community belonging. This panel will explore how strategic infrastructure planning across government mandates – from mobility and economic development to community and social services – is key to realising Abu Dhabi’s vision. The discussion will highlight the importance of unified leadership and coordinated planning across urban development and economic policy in shaping a dynamic city not just for economic growth and business prospects, but for life.
