H.E. Mohammed Al Suwaidi
H.E. Mohamed Alsuwaidi is the Executive Director of Projects Financial Affairs at ADPIC, where he leads the financial strategy and oversight for Abu Dhabi’s capital projects portfolio, encompassing more than 600 projects. With deep expertise in strategic planning and project management, he has played a central role in ensuring efficient resource allocation, optimal budget utilisation, and the alignment of financial operations across more than 25 government entities with the Emirate’s long-term strategic objectives.
His responsibilities include leading forecasting, performance tracking, and stakeholder engagement to maximise value and ensure compliance with financial laws and standards. He has also introduced evaluation criteria for capital projects, aligning them with strategic priorities of the Emirate, and established benchmark standards to improve finance and accounting operations.
Prior to his current role, H.E Alsuwaidi held several leadership positions at the Abu Dhabi Executive Office (ADEO) and Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC). In those roles, he successfully managed large-scale budgets, introduced cost optimisation frameworks, and contributed to the financial governance of high-impact government projects.
With a strong background in strategic financial planning and a proven ability to build collaborative relationships across the public and private sectors, H.E. Alsuwaidi is committed to fostering transparency and promoting best practices in capital project finance.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona and has completed executive education programmes in leadership and strategic business planning at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and IE Business School (Madrid, Spain).
