Dr. Talib Alhinai is the General Manager of Archer Aviation in the United Arab Emirates, where he is responsible for leading Archer’s commercial operations and regulatory engagement in the region. He is overseeing the launch of the world’s first commercial electric air taxi service in the UAE.

Prior to joining Archer, Dr. Alhinai served in leadership roles in both government and consulting. He was Director of Strategy at the Abu Dhabi Executive Office and a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He also founded Buildrone, a drone technology company.

He holds a PhD in Aerial Robotics from Imperial College London and a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the University of Manchester. His research on autonomous aerial systems has been published in Nature and received multiple recognitions, including the UAE Drones for Good Award. He also serves on board of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority since 2022.
