Dr. Mohamed Alloghani
Dr. Mohammed Alloghani brings over 19 years of experience across strategic sectors in the UAE, including the Prime Minister’s Office, ADNOC, Federal Public Prosecution, agriculture, food safety & healthcare. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to the President of MBZUAI. He previously worked as an advisor to the Minister of State for AI, where he led major national AI initiatives and worked on the first UAE National AI Strategy 2031. He also helped establish the UAE AI Summer Camps, aimed at training and upskilling youth.
At ADNOC, he led the first commercially deployed AI project in the oil and gas industry and oversaw the development of SEHA’s widely adopted mobile healthcare app. He is the first Emirati to earn a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (Liverpool, UK, 2018) and has published 62 scientific peer-reviewed research papers. He is also the author of three specialized books in artificial intelligence.
Globally, he represented the UAE in UNESCO’s AHEG (one of 24 world’s AI Experts), developing the first global AI ethics instrument adopted by 193 countries. He also served as part of the UAE delegation to the G20 Digital Economy Task Force and represented MBZUAI at the 2025 BRICS in Brazil.
