Carlos Wakim is the Chief Executive Officer of Bloom Holding, Chairman of the Executive Committee for Bloom Education, and Chairman of the Board of Governors of Brighton College UAE schools. He leads operations across all Bloom Holding companies, including Real Estate (Bloom Properties), Education Investments, Hospitality (Bloom Hospitality), Facilities Management (bfm), and Landscaping services (Bloom Landscape).    

Carlos Wakim has over 25 years of leadership experience in some of the region’s leading real-estate companies, where he has contributed to their success and expansion. Through Mr. Wakim’s considerable industry experience, he adds value to Bloom Holding by leading the delivery of the company’s strategic mandate to expand its portfolio in the UAE and internationally. 

Since joining Bloom Holding in September 2021, Carlos Wakim has led a number of achievements which include the successful launch of the fully integrated and all-inclusive community, Bloom Living. Mr. Wakim has also inked a deal with Rotana to manage Bloom Arjaan by Rotana, and a deal with New Era Education that has led to the launch of an international school in Cairo Egypt. He has also joined forces with LEAD Development and Mabel Capital to co-develop a luxury residential project in Spain. He played a key role in achieving the completion and handover of the Aldhay project and the first phase of Bloom Living ahead of schedule.  

He joined Bloom Holding from AMAALA, a Public Investment Fund initiative in Saudi Arabia, where he held the position of Chief Development Officer overseeing its entire project portfolio. Mr. Wakim has also held a number of senior leadership roles in the real estate industry such as TDIC, Emaar and Zabeel Properties.
