Asma Aljassmi is the Executive Director of Projects Control and Operations at Aldar Projects, a dedicated project delivery arm for both the Government of Abu Dhabi and Aldar. In her role, Asma oversees more than 260 developments, including large-scale government and public-private partnership initiatives.

With close to two decades of experience in the public and private sectors, Asma has been instrumental in driving large-scale developments and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, bringing a strong foundation in sustainability and data-driven project management.

Prior to her tenure at Aldar Projects, Asma held significant roles in the public sector including Acting Executive Director of Planning and Strategic Affairs at ITC Abu Dhabi.

A graduate of the American University of Sharjah with a Master’s Degree in Urban Transportation Planning and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Asma also holds certifications from MIT Professional Education in Sustainability Leadership and INSEAD in Financial Analysis.
