Dispute Avoidance: Advancements in Abu Dhabi Capital Contracts

Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure development ambitions are supported by innovative advancements in construction zcontracts designed to minimise disputes and augment project delivery efficiency. The revised Abu Dhabi General Conditions Contract (ADGCC) fosters collaboration, equitable risk allocation, and dispute avoidance mechanisms. The focus on equitable risk allocation and early dispute resolution, aligns with global metrics and further strengthens Abu Dhabi’s appeal to international contractors and investors. With a AED66 billion budget for 144 capital projects, the revised contract models will act as a cornerstone in attracting top-tier firms by minimising litigation risks and enhancing predictability.
