Drawing from comprehensive research on ASEAN's unique urban trajectories, this session will highlight the region's diverse and rapidly transforming urban landscapes. Presenters emphasise the importance of understanding these systems, which are often underrepresented in global indices, through a systems-of-systems approach that considers transport, housing, governance, and natural ecosystems. Session will also cover implications for policymaking and infrastructure investment in emerging urban contexts.
